This female Blue-eyed Darner had a difficult emergence at our garden pond and it appeared that she had fallen into the pond where I found her, floating dead.


Besides the light brown line across her face and the tubercle under her 1st segment, another good ID mark are the 3 cross veins in the super-triangle on her forewing.
